What is Anthem Psychiatry
Anthem Psychiatry is a mental healthcare company that specializes in the very best, evidence-based treatment for persons with mental health issues. We offer both in-person and telehealth services.
What does “We Love People” mean?
The motto “We Love People” embodies Carl Rogers’ principle of unconditional positive regard, rooted in brotherly love. It signifies acceptance and empathy without judgment, embracing individuals as they are. This approach fosters growth, trust, and healing, creating a supportive environment where every person’s journey is valued and respected.
What does “We Love Science” mean?
The motto “We Love Science” complements “We Love People” by integrating Carl Jung’s psychotherapy and Eric Berne’s transactional analysis. It underscores our commitment to evidence-based practices, blending psychological theories with empirical research. Through this scientific approach, we ensure the most effective and comprehensive treatment for every individual’s unique journey.
What sets Anthem Psychiatry apart from other places?
Anthem Psychiatry stands out for its fusion of compassionate care and scientific rigor. Rooted in Carl Rogers’ unconditional positive regard, we integrate cutting-edge approaches like Carl Jung’s psychotherapy and Eric Berne’s transactional analysis. Our holistic model prioritizes individualized treatment, empowering patients on their path to mental wellness.
What is Blue Horse Medical?
Blue Horse Medical, LLC is our parent organization. We elected to Do Business As (DBA) Anthem Psychiatry. Todd Adams is from Lexington, KY and grew up amid the famous Kentucky horse farms. The name Blue Horse Medical is a tribute to his family’s Kentucky roots.
Does Anthem Psychiatry have an app?
Yes, we have an app. It’s called Healow and can be accessed here: https://healow.com/apps/jsp/webview/index.jsp
Telehealth
Is telehealth psychiatry safe?
Psychiatric telehealth visits prioritize patient confidentiality and safety through strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. Secure platforms and encrypted communication ensure privacy, while providers maintain professional standards to safeguard sensitive information, fostering trust and confidence in remote mental health care.
Will my insurance cover telehealth visits?
Most commercial insurances do cover telehealth visits, but coverage can vary by insurance carrier. We strongly recommend that you contact your insurance carrier before scheduling a telehealth visit, to inquire if telehealth is indeed a covered benefit for your plan.
Can all of my appointments be virtual?
The Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Act (2008) regulates the dispensation of controlled substances online, limiting their distribution without a valid prescription. While ensuring safer online transactions, it also imposes restrictions on telehealth psychiatric services, particularly concerning prescribing practices for controlled substances.
Anthem Psychiatry requires that your psychiatric evaluation be completed in person and that you have an in-office visit at least once every year. We love it when you come more often. We love people.
